Purple Amazon is my very first published design. This is a triangular shape shawl knitted sideways. This kite shawl uses 3 different colors of fingering yarn. This design is perfect for solid or semi-solid color but you can also use variegated or speckled yarn for 1 or 2 colors. It is important that the color A and B has a high color contrast as they are stripped together.

The easy lace sections add a nice drape to the shawl.

I hope you will have as much fun to knit it as I had to create it.

Dimension: Wingspan – 101 inches, Center depth – 23 inches

Needles and notions:

3,75 mm / US 5 circular needles (I used 32 inches)

Removable stitch markers

Tapestry needle

Gauge: 16 stitches and 40 rows in garter. Gauge is not very important for this pattern but a different gauge will affect final dimensions and yardage.

Yarn: 3 skeins of Fingering weight yarn
